The lubricating system of diesel engine mainly consists of oil pump, oil channel, oil bottom shell, pressure limiting valve, oil filter and so on. The function of the lubricating system is to carry the clean oil to the friction surface of the parts of the diesel engine continuously, in order to reduce the wear of the parts, reduce the power loss and prolong the life of the parts. If the lubrication system fails, it will directly affect the normal operation of the engine, and even cause serious mechanical failures such as tile burning and cylinder drawing. This paper lists common faults and diagnostic methods of diesel engine lubrication system.
