The engine control module (ECM) can synchronize the ignition timing, the timing of the injector and the input signal of the ignition detonation control based on the crankshaft position sensor and the camshaft position sensor. The crankshaft position sensor is also used to detect missing fire and tachometer display. The condition of checking the maintenance manual and setting up the fault code P033500 is the setting of one of the following conditions: the engine control module detects that the engine starts when the pulse signal of the crankshaft position sensor is more than 15s; the engine is running and the engine control module does not detect the continuous 10s of the crankshaft position sensor pulse signal.
