A FAW Volkswagen Teng 1.8TS1 car with a mileage of about 100 thousand km in 2009. User response: the driver's side electric seat can not be adjusted backwards. Inspection and analysis: the maintenance personnel tried the car and found that the seat was adjusted forward, but the motor did not respond when it was adjusted back. The seat control unit is detected, and there is a fault indication that the sensor G441 on the driver's side seat is broken. When the seat adjustment button is operated, the data of the control unit is observed. It is found that the switch signal is received normally, but the control data of the stepping motor are not changed when it is adjusted back. The seat control unit does not respond after receiving the switch signal, which is likely to be related to G441 circuit breakage. Check G441 itself and its circuit, no abnormalities, indicating that the fault is inside the seat control unit. Troubleshooting: replacing seat control unit and troubleshooting.
